Postcards, invitations, photos, timetables, recipes, shopping lists—fridge doors are home to a regular culture of remembrance. So it is only natural that they should pay homage to art, too. The magnets featuring works from the exhibitions of Fondation Beyeler are particularly eye-catching and turn every fridge into a miniature art gallery.

The exhibition “Northern Lights” presents 74 landscape paintings by artists from Scandinavia and Canada produced between 1888 and 1937. These artists all share the boreal forest as a common source of inspiration.
