Christoph Finkel's art objects are made from solid wood – a natural, living material that reacts to fluctuations in temperature and humidity. Christoph Finkel uses carefully selected woods, mostly grown in the region, such as maple, ash, oak, cherry or walnut. The wood often comes from the Allgäu region or neighbouring areas and is only processed after a long, natural drying period. The grain, cracks, knotholes and colour variations are deliberately part of the design – they make each object unique and tell the story of the tree from which it was made.

Christoph Finkel is a sculptor and designer from the Allgäu region who specialises in hand-turned wooden objects. With a deep understanding of materiality and form, he creates works that combine nature, aesthetics and craftsmanship in a special way. Each piece is unique – shaped by the structure of the wood and Finkel's artistic signature.

Please note that the bowls and vases are not waterproof and should not be exposed to high temperatures, as this may cause cracking. We recommend touching the objects only with clean hands to avoid grease stains. The pieces are primarily intended as art objects and are not designed for everyday use.
