Porcelain that Flows

Watching the concentric rings formed by rippling water is always fascinating. So, too, are the elegant structures of the Grundtvig Church in Copenhagen, although we don’t generally get to see them quite so often. The ripples and the church both served to inspire the design of these vases. Clear lines, layers, tiers and droplet shapes combine into one flowing form that plays deftly with light and shadow. The matte porcelain vases are designed by Danish designer, ceramics artist and architect Vibeke Rytter.
