Film screening «Thomas Schütte - I am not alone» with film director talk

Thomas Schütte's work is always about people.
His works have gravity and lightness, but they also show damage, power relations, fears, dependencies, evil, weird and beautiful figures.
Thomas Schütte is celebrating his 70th birthday this year, which is why a monographic room is dedicated to the important collection artist in the current collection presentation «Daughter of Freedom». To mark the occasion, the «Young Think Tank» is presenting the documentary «Thomas Schütte - I am not alone» by Corinna Belz (2023). 
Since it was founded in 2013, the Young Think Tank has brought together young employees of the Fondation Beyeler.
The «Young Think Tank» deals with issues that concern employees, seeks new perspectives on current topics and develops ideas, concepts and projects. Before the film screening begins, director Corinna Belz will talk to the «Young Think Tank» about her film. The discussion will be held in German.

Admission to the museum is included in the event ticket.
