The "Proust" décor was created during a trip to the famous French writer's haunts, during which Alessandro Mendini sensed the closeness between the writer and the Parisian pointillists, and is a reinterpretation of a detail in a painting by Paul Signac. The cult décor now meets Christmas and underlines how its inherent expressiveness can be transformed into an artistic object, whatever the medium chosen. So that every decor becomes a small work of art.
