From 13 September 2021, museum visitors will be required to show a Covid-19 certificate (from the age of 16), i.e. you will need a valid Swiss or EU/EFTA Covid-19 certificate (vaccinated, recovered, tested) and an official proof of identity.

To present a Covid-19 certificate you can either show:

  • A proof of having completed a vaccination programme.
  • A COVID-19 recovery certificate that is less than 180 days old.
  • A negative rapid antigen test taken within the last 48 hours.
  • A negative PCR test taken within the last 72 hours.

During a transition period until October 24, 2021, in addition Swiss or EU/EFTA Covid certificates, all proof of vaccination with an EMA vaccine (Pfizer, Moderna, Janssen/Johnson&Johnson, AstraZeneca) will be valid:

  • Comirnaty® / BNT162b2 / Tozinameran (Pfizer/BioNTech)
  • Spikevax® / mRNA-1273 / COVID-19 vaccine (Moderna)
  • Vaxzevria® / AZD1222 / Covishield™ (AstraZeneca)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen (Johnson & Johnson)
