From October 25, 2021, visitors from the age of 16 will need a Swiss or EU/EFTA-certificate, which can be scanned (QR code) at the entrance of the museum.

Visitors from non-EU/EFTA countries are asked to request a Swiss Covid-Certificate before their visit. If you have been vaccinated with an EMA vaccine outside of Switzerland and the EU/EFTA:

  • You can apply for the Swiss Covid-certificate using the following online form.
  • The canton where you are temporarily staying will then take care of issuing the certificate.

Visitors who have recovered from Covid-19:

  • Tested positive in Switzerland and recovered: You can apply for the Swiss Covid-certificate via the following online form. The certificate will then be sent to you in paper form by post.
  • Tested positive and recovered abroad: Then you can also apply for a Swiss Covid-certificate via the online form.

Visitors with a negative test result:

The test must have been performed in Switzerland and the test result must be evidenced with a Swiss Covid-certificate. Foreign test results are only acceptable if they are evidenced in an EU/EFTA-certificate. Approved tests in Switzerland are:

  • PCR test: validity 72 hours from time of sample collection
  • Rapid antigen test: Validity 48 hours from time of sample collection.
