Description
Daily and nightly visual magic
In his works and in their association of different media, the French artist and film-maker Philippe Parreno thematizes our perception and experience of images and exhibitions, whereby he plays with the unexpected and the surprising within the familiar. In the Art Edition The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, he has employed fluorescent ink—so that where, during the day, we see an almost empty, white sheet, a display of pale fireworks erupts at night. The limited edition comprises 44 numbered and signed copies.
