Paintings by great masters deserve to be framed, even if they are only art postcards. A frame can play a decisive role, especially in the case of postcards, in lending the simple reproduction its own aura. When it’s a frame as cool as this one, at least. And if the frame on the wall also fulfils a second function, namely to provide a practical little shelf, then it was created by someone who knows how design works.
