Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes (1746-1828), is regarded as the most important Spanish artist of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. May it be through his genre painting, royal portraits or his depiction of the gruesome reality of war, Goya has inspired centuries of artists up to this very day.
The EVER GOYA PORTFOLIO gathers 21 contemporary artists who are paying homage to the Spanish master in their own particular ways.
It is a limited edition of 150 pieces and comes in an exclusive linen embossed box.
The 21 artists are: Fernando Arrabal, Miquel Barceló, Elena Del Rivero, Beatriz González, Jenny Holzer, Cristina Iglesias, Anne Imhof, Alfredo Jaar, Koo Jeong A, Alexander Kluge, Robert Longo, Cildo Meireles, Precious Okoyomon, Philippe Parreno, Raymond Pettibon, Adrián Villar Rojas, Rachel Rose, Santiago Sierra, Thomas Schütte, Rosemarie Trockel, Luc Tuymans.
