SILENT Sound Garden: Sound Meditation with Jen Lawrence Dale

Every Wednesday evening, you can enjoy the music of local and national acts with cool drinks and an inviting outdoor atmosphere. From classical music to reggae to electropop, Sound Garden in the museum’s park, with its multifaceted music programme, offers a relaxed way to spend a midweek evening.

As part of the Sound Garden, singer and artist Jen Lawrence Dale will be running a ‘Sound Meditation’ session in the museum’s park, in which busy bodies and minds can experience relaxation and liberation through voice and sound. Breathing exercises, visualisations and ‘deep listening methods’ are used to experience a holistic relaxation. With different sound frequencies flowing directly into your inner world through headphones, Jen Lawrence Dale will lead you through a gentle but energetic regeneration process in soothing natural surroundings. The ‘Sound Meditation’ takes place in English.
