ARCHITECTURE TOUR – IN GERMAN

One of the Fondation Beyeler’s most important works is the museum building itself, designed by Renzo Piano. During the architecture tour, you will learn the story of its making — from Ernst Beyeler's initial idea to the inauguration in 1997. Structural features, the relationship between interior and exterior space, the subtle lighting and the unique dialogue between architecture, art, and nature are also discussed.
