Los Thuthanaka

Combining art, medicine and music, the work of the siblings Chuquimamani-Condori and Joshua Chuquimia Crampton is characterised by the traditional knowledge and cultural practices of the Aymara, one of the oldest surviving ethnic groups in South America. As part of the current exhibition at the Fondation Beyeler, “Los Thuthanaka” bridges the past, present and future of their roots by blending Aymara compositions from the Andes with psychedelic rock and the minimalism of the American West Coast in a concert at the Pavilion in the museum park.

Admission is free and no prior booking is necessary.
