A magic moment of symbiosis

The Turmalili vase was designed by Helena Tapajnova exclusively for the Fondation Beyeler, bringing glass art into dialogue with the Impressionist world of Claude Monet. The set combines a transparent outer vase with an inner vase featuring delicate tourmaline-inspired colour gradients, evoking water lilies and blossoms floating on a pond. The textured glass catches the light, creating the impression of rippling water. When both vases are filled with water, they create a captivating interplay of colour, light and transparency. Each piece is mouth-blown in Switzerland by Niesenglass, celebrating traditional glassmaking craftsmanship.
